Cosatto Slim Jim Popsicle highchair review

The Cosatto Slim Jim popsicle highchair is to be the slimmest highchair I have seen, when it arrived I looked at the box & thought wow it is going be tiny! but on opening the box I could see it was a full highchair in size, the best bit...no assembly needed. One press of a button & a pull up on the back of the chair & it is ready to go, yes it really is as simple as that. It is perfect for every day use & to travel around with, at just 5.8kg and a folded size of H70cm, W63cm & D11cm it can fit in any car, we took ours to the beach which meant Rhian ate better & also did not get any sand in her lunch & ice cream, we also took it to the safari park because we knew that highchairs were not available in the picnic area so again Rhian ate perfectly & I could eat my lunch without her sat on my knee.
All the covers are easily removable & easy to clean, the whole frame & plastic parts can easily be wiped down & the 5 point safety harness can be taken off for easy cleaning. When it is unfolded it is H98cm W63cm & D68cm, the seat position is 61cm high & the tray is 79 cm. To fold it again you just press the button in on the back of the seat & push the back of the seat forward until you hear a click, this is then locked ready for storage

The seat is padded and is covered in colourful popsicles, the tray, plastic parts & harness are all orange. Cosatto also give you a 4 year warranty just make sure you register your product within the allocated time scale.

Every person who I have shown this too & there has been quite a lot who have seen it on our travels have said how much they love it & want one, the main comments are;
"you will never need another highchair or booster seat"
"It folds so small"
"I need one of those!"

It retails around £67-£70 so you really are getting a great highchair for a great price.

We highly recommend this highchair it certainly lives up to its name!

  2. I agree with all the above review. It is very neat and easy to fold. Two gripes I have are the goin part of harness is too far forward. Even fully shortened my 7 month old slides forward. It wouldve been better if it had a choice of positions like the shoulder harnesses have. Second gripe is that the design of the back of the chair does not allow wee ones to sit up straight as it has quite a backward slant on it. Its almost encouraging slouching! I am forever having to re-adjust wee mans position and pad his back with cushions etc. It might not be so bad if the tray was adjustable but because it is not, and the groin strap issue and the slouching design he cannot reach the tray. We have tried adjusting and re-adjusting the back harness but all that does is hold him even further from tray. If I had had him with me when I went to purchase highchair I probably would not have bought this! Hopefully as he gets bigger these problems will reslove themsleves as I have tried my 2 year old nephew in it and he was fine.
