Cosatto Yo Golightly review

There is a crazy fever hitting the streets,.....Golightly fever. Parents have gone crazy over Cosatto's  Golightly design & I am not surprised as I was one of them. It's design is funky and fits perfectly within the rest of planet Cosatto. Cosatto dare to be brave with their designs and they definitely  stand out in a crowd which I love.
I was asked to review the Yo Golightly for them and as you can imagine I did a little giddy dance when I read the email and immediately replied with the biggest yes! ok onto the stroller because of course this is why you are here.

In the box you will find

one Yo Golightly stroller
one head hugger
 two chest pads
oneraincover in it's very own matching storage bag
one fleece lined cosy toes with a kangaroo pouch to keep those little hands warm in the winter
 a matching changing bag.

Not only do you get all this in the box you also get 4 years warranty which shows how much Cosatto believe in their products.

Putting the Yo Golightly together is really simple, you can watch my video below to see for yourself

The stroller is easy to push and weighs in at only 7kg the handles are covered with a supergrip foam & has puncture-proof EVA tyres, the break system is a 2 pedal break system so can be applied from either side. The chassis is black aluminium giving you a sturdy yet lightweight frame. Lockable swivel wheels help you manoeuvre around small spaces and came in very handy when we took a trip to London, locking off the wheels makes going over rough terrain easier & the quick release mechanism means you can easily remove the wheels to clean them.
The seat can be reclined to any position thanks to its strap and bracket system, it can be tricky to get the hang of at first but you do get the benefit of reclining it into any position. The stroller is suitable from birth and comes with a head hugger & padded strap covers for newborns but if you are intending to use straight from newborn it does not recline fully flat, at full recline there is a slight incline.

The material is a gorgeous black and white stripe that is fully wipe-able and is durable 300 denier polyester. The gorgeous detail of the red bow on the hood, cosy toes and bag are what really make this stroller so lovely. The gorgeous matching cosy toes is fleece lined and comes with a brilliant kangaroo pouch on the front, the liner is reversible for the summer time (if it ever comes) the reversed side matches the inside of the hood so no matter how you decide to have it, it all co-ordinates perfectly. The shopping basket is generous for a stroller & folding is done in 2 simple steps, the stroller is held in place with 1 clip to the side and comes with a very hand carry handle. Rhian spent most of two days in the stroller whilst we was sight seeing in London & she was comfortable at all times and slept soundly in it. I would recommend the Cosatto Yo to family & friends & for those with little boys Cosatto have brought out a Yo Ahoy there so the girls don't get to have all the fun.

The dimensions are:
Size: L: 72cm W: 44cm H: 98cm, folded size: L: 116cm W: 30cm H: 34cm & handle height: 100cm

You can also buy the Giggle & you2 twin in the Golightly design

I received the Yo Golightly for the purpose of the review all wording and opinions are my own.

  3. Do you think the handles are a good height? I cannot try this stroller because I'm in the US but may order it. I am 5 feet 7 inches tall and my husband is 6 feet tall, do you think we'll be bending down to push this since you can't adjust the handle height? Thanks!

  4. Hi! Would love this!! I am due with 2nd baby in march, but would want to use from birth as use a lot of buses trains etc and boot of car is quite small, so would suit us much better then a travel system or something along those lines but was wondering if you would personally put your baby in there from newborn and doesn't recline so is completely flat?! And is there enough support with head hugger and chest pads for newborn? Thanks x

    1. Hi, it is suitable from birth, it does not recline fully flat & you won't have the advantage of having the baby facing you like the giggle would offer. I will be able to show you a newborn in it in a few weeks if you would like me to.
